“Wow, I feel so gross and bloated from eating out.”
We’ve all been there.
After a meal out, wanting to just go home, unbutton the jeans and lie on the couch. You can’t help but feel guilty like you took a big step backward in your weight loss journey.
For the longest, I felt this way every time I ate out and just avoided eating out altogether because of it.
However, it doesn’t have two be this way! By utilizing the tips below you can travel without the stress of ruining your progress!
2. Protein! Make sure your meal has a base of protein for satiety purposes.
3. Choose grilled over fried and keep the cream-based sauces on the side! (Mayo, ranch, chipotle sauce, etc)
4. Look up the calories and chose ahead of time! Don’t automatically choose salads” just because you think they are healthy, they could be packing more
calories than the meal you ACTUALLY want.
5. Relax and Eat Slowly- Food is fuel AND meant to be enjoyed. Don’t put food into the category of “good” and “bad”. Eat without guilt, just not past the feeling of being full.
If you want my exact adjustment I make at restaurants to stay fit while traveling comment below saying “I <3 eating out”
